Note:
- If menstruation is regular, women should be advised to check the pack instructions about how to start the preparation in line with their cycle.
- If menstruation is irregular, HRT can be started at any time and the patient advised to keep a bleed diary.
- For sequential combined oral tablets the pills in each pack differ in colour and must be taken daily in sequence as stated in the patient information leaflet.
